Converting a rock guard

I just upgraded my tow vehicle and I had a roadmaster baseplate, tow bar, and rock guard.
My new to me tow vehicle came with a blue ox base plate. I bought the adapters to use my roadmaster tow bar but I can't figure out how to make my old roadmaster guardian rock shield work with the blue ox. Anybody ever tried this or heard of anyone who did it. I have pictures of the roadmaster but I don't see anyway to attach it to this post. If anyone has any ideas and wants to look at it send me your email in a PM and I will send the pictures.
Thanks for any ideas or help you can offer. If I can't make this work then I am just going to have to try to sell guardian.
