Cover Question

Has anyone ever made cut-outs in their RV covers for the refrigerator to vent so they can leave the refer running while the rig is covered?

Wife is getting tired of emptying the refer but it rains so much and so hard here I prefer to keep it covered even if only for a week or two!
  • Back when I covered our coach for the winter, our ADCO cover had roll up sections on the passenger side. The middle section cleared the door and the furnace vent, but not the fridge roof vent. With the fridge running on electric, that didn't cause any problems though.
  • OK...I get it, no one has ever done this! Thanks!
  • Take inventory of how much of that stuff in the fridge you really eat.
  • Ask what she would like more, cleaning the fridge or cleaning mould? With all the humidity, covering is an open invitation for mould to start. I have a similar environment here. Never covered the rv, and don't want to start.

Wouldn't we all! Not in the budget!
