Snow, what's the draw (AH) on the CPAP? What's your house battery/ies AH capacity? What is your method for recharging...generator and/or solar? - rickst29Explorer"Search" is your friend. ;)Some machines need 24V, some need only 12V. More details than you need, but definitely enough to do what you want, here: https://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/29356750.cfm
- Snowbear1ExplorerThanks for the info. It looks like I'll be installing a 12 outlet.
- JesLookinExplorerI ran a dedicated 12V line to wife's side of bed, and installed a cigarette plug, so she can plug her's in.
- kerrlakeRooExplorerIn most trailers the bedroom is in the front and close enough that it's easiest to wire a 12 volt outlet straight to the batteries. Just make sure you put a fuse in the line.
- LwiddisExplorer IIIf you or your DW/DH need a CPAP, a bunch more studying is necessary...no, impariative..before before you venture outdoors. Start with basic RV power reading.
- naturistNomadNo. USB is 5 volts, not 12. It is also not enough amps.
