- MedicoExplorer IIWe initially thought the same thing. Our coach has the pull down accordion style shades. We did not realize there was a second set directly above the light shades that were much darker night shades. Boy did we feel like fools when we discovered this! :S
- Mike_LeslieExplorerMy low tech way cost $1.50 per window. At the end of the season I purchased some fan fold aluminum coloured sun shades (two different sizes available). In addition, I purchased the kind of sun shades that twist up, are black on one side, silver on the other. They were a bargain at two for $1.50. It depends on the window to which style I use.
I carefully slip these behind the day/night shades. They not only block the light, but also help to insulate from the cold or heat.

- imgoin4itExplorerWhen we bought or motor home I had the dealer replace ours with black out night shades. Had them before. All made by the manufacturer that made the original.
