- AcdiiExplorerJust be watchful of Iowa drivers. They like to park in the exits and go inside. I just returned from Utah over I70, so I know of these places mentioned. Very good question since quite a few places have very little room for an average pickup and trailer to get through.
Get the Gas Buddy APP and it will list stations around you for pricing, but it wont tell you if they have large pull throughs for big rigs. - JAC1982Explorer

I didn't go through Fruita, but I know they were more expensive last week.
Yup it's called Eagle Truck Stop. - Bionic_ManExplorerI just drove through the area this am. The truck stop (I think it said Eagle) in DeBeque Canyone - state park exit - was the cheapest fuel. $0.20 cheaper for gas and $0.10 for diesel.
I didn't go through Fruita, but I know they were more expensive last week. - JAC1982ExplorerThere's a truck stop just east of Palisade right off I-70 (I think that's the DeBeque Canyon one that RAS 43 and Bionic Man references?). Very easy to pull in and out. It's the same exit for the State Park, it's the only place out there.
There's a few others in Rifle and Eagle, but that truck stop will be your easiest before you get to Grand Junction. The one in Fruita people are talking about is easy as well, but like mentioned, it's more expensive.
Also if you need to dump and/or get fresh water, there are free dump stations and free potable water at the CDOT rest stops both in Rifle and in Fruita. The Rifle one is easier to access IMO, and less busy. - IDmanExplorerThere are many stations in Glenwood Springs and in Rifle, plus those others have mentioned.
- Bionic_ManExplorerMy last two trips that way Fruita was the most expensive for fuel - gas or diesel. Including my trip last week.
- camperguy99ExplorerAlways go on to Fruita about 10 miles West of Grand Junction. Navigate the two round about thingys and take the first station on the right. Found they are the lowest price almost anywhere. Diesel at the car pumps but I go thru the truck pumps. Have to take the CC in.
- Bionic_ManExplorerOther than those already mentioned, there is also a truck stop in DeBeque Canyon. It is at the same exit as the State Park. The last two times I went that way, they were the lowest priced.
I like to stop at the Love's. It is usually a little more expensive, but it is a nice, new fuel station with very clean rest rooms. - ncrowleyExplorer IIThere is a Flying J in Grand Junction we stop at.
- Tiger02ExplorerKum & Go station at exit 62 (De Beque) looks pretty easy in and out off I-70. Otherwise the Love's in Grand Junction.
