Another poster says dont be offended if someone questions you. HORSE HOCKEY! If someone tries to harass or intimidate someone by hollering and accusing, Im going to get offended. People need to chill.
Opinions are like elbows, almost everyone has a couple. Just offering mine. Don't need to get your panties in a bunch. Never suggested that one should take any abuse. Just merely pointing out that many able-body people have no idea. But if getting mad works for you, go for it.
BTW, good advice at the end.
I dont know where you got the idea that I have my panties in a bunch Sarge. And I agree with you that many able bodied people have no idea about disabilities unless it fits there idea of what a disability should look like. If someone approached me just to ask in a concerned manor, I would probably handle it as you would. But the majority jump to conclusions, utter snide remarks, and start hollering, . Nobody needs that. What happened to respect? Ive earned mine as I am sure you have earned yours. And Im not talking about panties! :B
