Do any of you use those Bumper hitch racks?

It seems that most racks say up to 500# capacity. That is carting a snowplow around all the time when full and they are mounted further back.

I just installed the anti rattle thingy I got of e-Bay & yes a big help & also installed lots of reflective tape.

I would 'strongly suggest' you pick up some dot approved reflector tape for the sides AND front of the carrier.

It keeps the cops at bay and helps little ole ladies from walking into it at parking lots and cars sideswiping it. Been there done that in all of the above. :W

You can find the dot approved strips readily at farm supply stores or horse trailer websites. I found they do make a difference especially at night for making it visible to others. Can't tell you how many people at the CG ran into it before I put the tape on!

Yeah thats why I added the two reflectors, but your right maybe get the tape anyways & go around the side & such.

Put some snowplow flags on the front corners if you need to see it from the cab.
I used a cheapo hitch cargo rack on the back with the camper.
Double duty hauls the firewood generator, lawn chairs and dirty cast iron skillet and griddle. Built a wood box sides to hold all the******in. When camping it acts as a mid step up to the camper door. It's pretty tippy so after a few-12 drinks gotta watch it!
