there a formula to figure "mule power"?

OK, it's time for a school lesson. If you're a "city" person, you probably will not know this. If you are a "country" person, you've probably lived with it all your life. A little off topic here, I know, but since you mentioned ... here it goes:

There is:
Male Horse
Female Ass
Male Ass
Female Horse

When the various combinations are bread together:

Male Horse and Female Ass = Mule (The mule could be male or female). Most Muels (not not "all" are steril). So, if you ever encounter a "mule breeder' you may want to sell him your ocean front property in Arizona.

Ass, Donkey, Jacksass and Burro... are all synonymous (the same, just name different).

A Male Ass and a Female Horse = a Hinny. The Hinny could be male or female.

There's no evidence, pro or con, on a Hinny reproducing, but I would venture to say they do because i get behind one every day on my way to work!

Now that we are all educated on the proper definitions ... let this GREAT thread continue!

Let's see... the rig seems level. Good 4-hoof shoe brakes. Built in speed limiter to prevent sway. I guess you're good! ๐Ÿ˜„

A mule has a lot more torque than a horse the equation is
# of mules X # of legs /stride distance = HP There is a slight difference if you are feeding Oats VS Wheat chaff. I would definitely go with the mule over the Horse as you will get up the hill with power to spare.

Note: this information is Void if the horse is a Percheron or a Clydesdale pulling a Beer wagon.

In his case, it might be easy to borrow a mule or two when going on a longer trip or heading into the hills! And, talking about towing at a casual pace....

What's his MPFB.......miles per feed bag??

And, we know handling would be better if he upgraded to a fifth wheel!!!

Not Horses or donkeys but Mule power. There is 18 missing or it could be a 20 mule team like the freight carriers from the old days.

Three horsepower. (Or are they donkeys? 3DP?) I like it. Probably gets better mileage than my TV. I measure that in gallons per mile ๐Ÿ˜‰

Weight distribution hitch is missing. Get the WDH on there and the tow vehicle will probably be ok.

I wonder if there is an "emission" problem with that TV ?
