When we went to Zion we wanted to be able to hike all the trails, so we boarded our three dogs - two Drathars and a Maltese at Doggy Dude Ranch in Rockville near Springdale. They were FANTASTIC. They took great care of our little Maltese by keeping her near them (since she had separation issues) and the two big dogs thoroughly enjoyed their day. I would highly recommend them if you want to do more exploring.
