Dolly tow a 2016 Chevy Spark

Hello, Just purchased a towmaster 80t to tow my 2016 Spark. The spark does not have a steering wheel lock. The dolly does pivot. Do I have to clamp off the steering wheel while towing.
  • Hello. I do like the dolly. It is close and I do go slow when I want to enter the ramps. I barely feel the car and dolly behind me when towing. I did purchase new 13 inch straps from master tow and they are very easy to put on and take off. Takes me about 5 minutes or so to hook up.

    Hello Campincarters.

We have a 2015 Chevy Spark with a manual transmission and are looking at the Master Tow 80T tow dolly. Is this dolly low enough to get the Spark up the ramps without hitting the bottom of the car? How do you like this dolly? Any other information you would / could provide would be extremely helpful.

    Thank you!
  • I just looked in a 2014 owners manual and yes you have to lock/strap the steering wheel. Your manual should detail the procedure for dolly towing your year model. Look under the section vehicle care.
