I do have to take right hand corners a little wider because of the 18" tongue extension.That's why I questioned the 60" and having to make even wider turns. If I didn't have the 18" extension, I think the trailer would follow the same turning path as the MH.
My trailer has a shallow 18" V-nose. I think that is why the dealer recommended the 18" extension. With a flat nose, I don't think it would have been a concern. The actual length of my tongue from the point of the V, to the end of the coupler is 40".
