Save the money spent on the salts... instead, replace the batteries and consider a decent solar charging system (100+ watts to help counteract parasitic amp draws, even on overcast days... ideally the watts should match the ampere-hours of the combined battery capacity.)
AGMs are expensive, but it might be wise to consider those, as you won't have to worry about watering and other stuff which may get battery acid in your face at a bad time.
