Fascinating Tool For Use With CPAP BiPAP

My meter arrived today. Will record tonight when I sleep. I do not use a CPAP but it is reported that I do snore.... I think she lies!

That's what I am interested in...and I would sure appreciate reading reports of P/O versus BiPAP or CPAP, AHI data. Trends and tendencies. I don't know how my sleep study went because the ra... Pakistani (Islamabad) university graduate sleep study doctor refused to show them to me. The idiot even failed to tell me that my AHI reduced 90% when I slept on my side. "Oh sure! We knew that". i returned to his lab and created an "incident" and reported him to the state board of medical examiners. Eight months later the facility was closed. I hope he moved to Tora Bora. I do not trust them anymore. Not with my life.

Received mine and it works great. It is interesting to see the incidents of low SpO2 and correlate it to the CPAP data.

Price just dropped a bit. A person does not have to have Paramedic knowledge to use one these gizmos. If pulse, or O2 saturation suddenly deviates from normal. Call your doctor. If there is any chest, arm or neck pain, go to the ER post haste.

don't know why it matters much which side arm/finger is used. my nurses just use what is convenient. I guess one should be consistent however to tell variances if any over time. Upon reflection I guess I usually do my left arm so my right is available for the job of pushing the buttons. :)

Dang, prices sure have dropped. I bought one about 3 years ago for $80 - after learning it would cost me that much to rent one for two nights locally. Mine has a little box that connects to the fingerclip with a cord, not all in one unit.

The DW has one and on every finger it reads differently.I dont know how well these work.

just got an email saying mine has been shipped. I checked at walmart this am. cheapest O2 meter was $35 and "deluxe" model $50. couldn't see any advantage to the deluxe one. both just only o2 readout.
