Firewood from out of state.
There is a very good article in the Denver Post about the Emerald Ash Borer, and other tree killing insects called Urban Forest under Siege.

i hope this link works, or someone more qualified than me can make it work.
It especially references a study done by CSU Professor William Jacobi about campers who bring in firewood, especially campers from out of state to our state and National campgrounds. I was surprised that a study they did showed 39 percent of surveyed campers in 13 National Parks in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming brought firewood from another state with them. There are more interesting facts to read but if the link works please read it and realize what can happen by bringing in your own firewood from somewhere else. It is a very interesting article about the dangers to our forests by bringing in firewood from somewhere else.
