I've done a few of these they tend to be problematic but usually you install the controller, install the fuse which is the power to the plug fuse and then go in to the programmable parameters of the instrument cluster and switch trailer control from "disabled" to "enabled".i did have to install a different master cylinder on one because the brake pressure switch was missing. that was an F-250. Unfortunately there isn't much info from Ford on what to do on which vehicles.
