Fridge for a Class B
We have recently purchased a '93 Dodge camper van. It is in amazingly good condition with low miles and mechanically sound.
Somebody in its past has removed the Dometic 3 way fridge and replaced it with a 110 volt bar fridge. I would like to revert it back to a 3 way as we do a lot of off grid camping.
The Dometic and Norcold fridges are stupidly expensive and out of stock almost everywhere I look. There is a Unique 3 way fridge that would fit in the available space for half the price. It is intended for cottage use and says not for RV. It looks to be almost identical as far as the LP gas and venting compared to the RV 3 way fridges. Do I save myself over a thousand dollars and use this one?
I do have LP gas and CO detectors in the van so I'm sure that I am covered safety wise.
