The fuel tank sits above the fresh water tank. I ran a temp (ground wire) while watching the guage at the dash panel.
There is nothing between the plywood floor and the steel tank. The fresh water tank is fiber glass.
I used a trim pot (variable resistor) to simulate the built in varying resistance of the sensor assembly.
The dash indicator does respond accordingly.
It's a Fleetwood Bounder '86 Model.
