That's a start. He's only a few weeks behind most of the nation now. Glad he was thinking of the snowbirds that are still in Georgia.
GA has been in a State of Emergency since very early on. Originally, the governor was allowing local authorities to make decisions effecting their communities. I think the governor finally caved because he didn't want to be one of those "hold outs" that hasn't put a shelter at home order in.
The governor's orders have actually relaxed restrictions that our county commissioners had put in place, most notably, he re-opened the county beaches for exercise only.
The governor's order really hasn't changed anything for us and I would expect most Georgians except, if we wanted to go to the beach for a walk, we could. Originally, he allowed short term rentals that local authorities had banned, but apparently, he recently changed his mind. That should keep vacationers away. Currently, our County has about 30 cases out of a population of 85,000 or so.
