Ok sorry for bashing ALL Goodyears. They are SR-A standard load 4 ply tires. A rated. What else am I looking for on them? And I have been on the scales already. I'm not new to the TT towing circuit. Just don't get why they put these tires on a vehicle that has a tow package when they aren't rated for towing. 44lbs psi as well.
Thanks.

That my thought Ford has done a lot to upgrade and make the Ecoboost a decent TV for its class but failed to put on a ttire capable of towing a decent load?
Which begs the question what is considered decent.
I guess the tire falls in the grey area of 1/2 ton towing. Do you want a soft ride car like ride or a better tow vehicle?
Ford decided softer was better. Based on this thread the F 150 owners seem unsure themselves.
I prefer a relaxed tow and want all the towing performance/features I can get to make my tow stable and relaxing.
Towing tires are a fundamental requirement of a decent TV in my book.
