Hard time finding a short full mattress.

I ended up buying one off Amazon. Awaiting its arrival. Thanks, everyone.

just type 48xx75 mattress into Google and you will get multiple hits, including links to mattresses on Amazon.

Apparently Short Full is a modern term for an RV mattress which is really narrower and not shorter than a standard full size or aka double bed. 75 x 48 has always for many years been refered to as a 3/4 size. It is between a twin size or single which is 75 x 39 and a double or full size which is 75 x 54.

I didn't know what size it was but took the measurements and then googled and found that it was called a short full. I agree that it's more like a narrow full but that's what they call it.

A regular full size mattress is 54"x 75". Sounds like yours is narrow rather than short.

look at www.foambymail.com - you can buy a full sheet of foam - they sell different densities and thicknesses. Comes compressed and rolled - easy to cut with an electric knife to any size/shape you need. Can create your own mattress by layering different types of foam. Have used them for the past 2 rigs - very pleased.

If you have an Original Mattress Factory near you, check them out. We were Able to sample all their mattresses then chose one which they made to size for our fiver.
I wasn’t going to buy a mattress without first laying on it.

A full size mattress is already short at 74.5" (compared to the 80 inches of a queen size mattress). How much shorter do you need it?

Find the dimensions you need and have it custom made.

We cut it to size with an electric knife.
Couldn't be happier!
