we average camping on the same site in rural South Dakota for 2 - 3 months each summer .... with our OEM batwing, we got one clear channel and one more with a snowy picture .... when we added a wingman and our perception was that the picture on the snowy channel was a bit better (that could have well been because we really wanted to believe the wingman would help) .... in April of 2011 we replaced the wingman enhanced batwing with a Jack antenna .... the difference has been remarkable .... we now can count on getting 6 South Dakota based stations clearly along with a few more located in Minnesota .... based on our use the Jack antenna delivers markedly better reception in areas where the batwing/wingman failed
