Help me replace my Saturn Vue Toad with ???

Where can I find the 2015 Guide to Towable vehicles?

I am looking to replace a 9 year old Saturn Vue that has done well but is getting very tired. Need something under 5000LBS total weight, has automatic transmission, can be towed four down and can also tow a 2500Lb max load(utility trailer and Polaris UTV). Looking to buy new or a recent model year.

So, anyone got a vehicle that you use or know of that might fit the bill?? Thanks in advance.
  • Check the Chev Captiva. A used car dealer told me that it was the updated Vue. Its owners manual show how to dinghy tow it.
  • I tow a 10 ft trailer with a Polaris Sawtooth and a Kawasaki Prairie loaded with my 2014 Wrangler.
  • In Nov bought a 08 Suzuki grand vitra. Have not towed it but will, love to drive it.Just turn the selector to neutral to tow. Also has 4 low I think it will tow 3000 lb.
  • A Grand Cherokee (totally different from Cherokee) would meet your criteria.
  • We purchased a 2014 Jeep Cherokee to tow behind our MH. We are having problems with is swaying if we hit a rough spot in the road. It really is so bad we have to completely stop and start over. I have also talked to another 2014 Jeep Cherokee owner that has encountered the same swaying issue. This has only happened at slower speeds so far. The swaying is bad it would cause the MH to wreck if it happened at higher speeds. The dealer has realigned every thing, when we towed over the same rough roads it still swayed, but not as bad. We are sure we want to tow it on a long trip. Dealer even said that they did not think the realignment would keep it from swaying. This is a safety concern. We are no sure what to do. When we tow my flat bottom boat or a trailer, the transmission shifting is very rough. Also, be sure you watch out for the electronic parking brake it comes on at strange times. It towing it you will damage your rear tires.
  • My 2014 Jeep Cherokee can pull 4500 lbs and it tows great. I have towed it
55 times for a total of 9537 miles.
  • We tow a 2008 Chevy Colorado 4x4 pickup.
