We use #2, have drug 2 different toads with it all over the US, at least 70,000 miles without any trouble. Had a couple wanted to see how easy it was to connect, DW and I showed off, had toad attached checked and ready to go in 35 seconds. Normally a bit longer, generally less than 5 minutes. 4000 lb toad.
