Intimidated by a high pressure salesman?? Not me.
Take control. You simply cannot be afraid to tell them....."leave us alone" and "we will find you if and when we have questions".
There is tons of information out there about any RV. If you have done your homework....YOU will know more about any particular RV than the salesperson does. Don't let them push you around, or give you the I know it all attitude. You don't have to be rude...just be firm.
YOU are the customer.
If they persist.....I have no problem asking the salesperson...."What type of RV do you currently own???" Or, "How many years have you lived or traveled in an RV???"
We 'shopped' for our current motorhome for about 2 years. Dealt with a number of sales personnel. But there was one lady that was always nice, friendly, and respectful. She would chat with us for a bit, ask if we had questions, or needed help, and then she moved on...each time always telling us to just let her know when we were ready to buy.
And that's what we did. She earned our business.
