Holding tank sizes

I have a buddy that has a 1999 Damin Hornet 21F Travel Trailer. We are trying to figure out the size of his holding tanks. They are covered up so we can not see them to measure them. I know that the tanks on all the different brand names of Travel Trailers come from some tank factory and are all about about the same size and capacity.

Are any of you willing to give a guess to the size of the tanks ??

Thank-You.

Previous Motorhome had 50 gallon gray and black tanks and as we know the gray will fill up faster than a black tank. Since they were on the same level and on the same drain l could open both valves letting gray into the black tank, BUT you need to put a drain cap with the hose bib on first. The hose bib lets you drain the water between the two valves onto the drain hose and then you can put it on without making a mess.
  • Thank you for your replies.

You know, I did try a search but, the thing with those searches is that you have to know how to ask the question. I usually screw up and end up asking the wrong question. I think I tried something like; 99 damin hornet specifications; I should have tried something simpler.

    Thanks again.

My reason for asking is that he only wants to go weekend camping with us at places with full hook-ups because he thinks after he and his wife each take 2 showers and wash dishes his gray holding tank will be full. Looks like if he doesn't be careful with water usage he could be right. Personally , I can go days without problems but, I conserve water and take Navy type showers.
  • I don’t agree that all, or most, TTs have similar sized tanks.

Simply amazing what can be found with a Goggle Search!
  • In 'smaller' or 'cheaper' trailers all three holding tanks tend to be the same size.

Just a lot easier during the build process to put all three tanks in a row under the floor and one system of braces.

There should be a sticker on the inside of one of the cabinet doors stating holding tank capacities.
