- Did it ever work?
+1 to check the start capacitor or have a mobile RV tech do it. - Jimf1234ExplorerOne other thing is make sure you are using the 3 prong plug and not the 20 amp plugs
- TurnThePageExplorerQuite often this is where a "hard start capacitor" might save the day, assuming that all the equipment is already functioning correctly.
- nevadanickExplorerOr they are at high altitude where its not as efficient.
- tvman44ExplorerThat Honda should be capable of running that A/C with out even struggling. Either something else is on that you are not aware of or that Honda needs service.
- MrWizardModeratorconverter / water heater
start generator BEFORE you need the A/C, charge the batteries before turning on A/C, run A/c on "FAN" while charging
do NOT wait until the RV is HOT to start the A/C, let the compressor start working early
if this doesn't do it, get a NEW 'run capacitor' for the A/c
the old one might be bad - SoundGuyExplorer
