- janstey58ExplorerMy sunscreen slides into the slot on the roller.
- navegatorExplorerThere are two types of hooks grey and white, they both slide in a groove on the awning tube and the screen attaches to theese, do not roll the awning with the hooks attached, they will punnkture the material.
navegator - filrupmarkExplorerOur sunscreen slides in the groove also.
- janstey58ExplorerNo hooks needed on mine.
- DutchmenSportExplorerI've seen several sun screens in the last 30 years of camping, and none have ever used hooks. All slide in the awning tub groove.

We bought some hangers similar to these and some sunscreen material from Lowes. My GF eliminated the clips / eyelets and sewed the hangers directly to the material. Also sewed eyelets in the bottom for tying down the screen. Less $$ than commercial and better. Like others said it just slides in the awning groove. We have people asking where we got it almost every trip.
