How did this bearing get bent?
I packed the wheel bearings last year. Started the job this year and found a bent cage. I cant believe I would have missed this last time, but I also can't see how I could have bent it without noticin...

Here's another reason for annual inspection. This is the other wheel on the same side. The rollers are pitting on the narrower side of the bearing. The race seems fine.

Ha - if I tried that I'd end up with the race welded to the drum.
