How many miles have you towed in one day?
We are planning a trip to Yellowstone next August. I want to go about 550 miles the first day. My wife says thats too far. What do others think?

We were road warriors when we were young and drove 600-700 miles a day with old cars that didn't go very fast. Sometimes we drove 1,000 miles. Now I am retired and it is too tiring. I like lighter trailers and can go 500 miles, but much prefer 300 miles or less in a day. I really like the 300 miles or done by 3 o'clock rule.
