I will be driving my 2015 Georgetown 270s in the mountains for the first time. I will be coming from Florida and will be taking 129/11 to get to Vogel. Is anyone familiar with this road. Is it narrow. How about the grade. I will not have a TOAD.

Altho I already gave an answer, let me answer your question as well.
Coming from the south and heading north the road is 2 lane, not so narrow but no real shoulder for pulling off either. You may find a few turn in spots. The road is steep with lots of switchbacks. Now when you get to the top of Blood Mountain ( that's what it's called ) and start down the other side of which VSP is about 3/4 of the way down, you will have steep roads with switchbacks and even a truck run off ramp if that clues you in.Prior to this you may see off to the right way down there a few old cars and trucks that went off the side and were just to much trouble to bring up years ago.
My ex wife was a park enforcement ranger there for several years and we were both Sheriffs Deputies in that County.
Not trying to scare you off, just trying to help you out.If it is your first time, please go the route myself and Ivylog and LadyRVER already suggested, you'll be glad you did.Have a great time at Vogel,it's beautiful there.

yep; we were just there a few months ago--definitely worth it to take the long way around; it's a very easy drive that way.

I concur with Ivylog and LadyRVer.I spent 20 years of my life in the Blairsville area and the best and safest route for pulling a load is the route provided by Ivylog.

129 S from Blairsville to Vogel, nice. 129 north or south from Blairsville to Cleveland is fun in a little car.

Welcome... I'm a little confused by your 129/11??? Are you taking 11 from Macon or 129? Are you doing this to avoid Atlanta? If so it will be slow going on mainly two lane roads.
Once 19 and 129 join together it's an interesting fairly steep mountain road with lots of curves and some passing lanes... last 25 miles.
I recommend going straight through Atl (non rush hour) on I-75 to I-575 at Marietta. This will get you to Blairsville on divided four lanes without any steep grades or curvy roads. 19/129 from Blairsville to Vogel is an easy two lane road.
This post is my opinion (free advice). It is not intended to influence anyone's judgment nor do I advocate anyone do what I propose.
