hydro/electric leveler ... help?

Hello, i pulled off this one leveler from the rear of my class a,
I have little info on its origin or brand/part number
I know it is electric with its own hydraulic reservoir (which is leaking fluid everywhere )
Im going to clean it up, see where the fluid is leaking and attempt to fix it.
It makes a god awful noise when extending and retracting. Im hoping it isnt complete garbage.
Any one know what kind of fluid this will require after i flush it? And if I do in fact need a new one, a good replacement that will work with the existing jacks?
Thanks for your help.
  • Thank you both..looks like the lines are leaking at all four fittings, haven't figured out just yet if the pump is bad . I cant seem to find parts for these, only full sets of four.
Will call the manufacturer for more info.
Came off a 95 Class A.. can only assume any warranty is long voided.
I suspect electrical issues coming soon as well.
If at one time it had a starter lockout, it doesn't work anymore. Or was bypassed for whatever reason i cant wrap my head around
The opposite jack has no leaks but will not retract with the in cab controls. I need to crawl under with a screwdriver to connect the two leads on the up solenoid to get it to retract. Very shady situation lowering a 17,000 lb bus toward your face.

Yup. That looks like my BF. If we are correct. it uses Type F Automatic Transmission Fluid. The "Type F" part is important.

Mine came with a "Lifetime" warranty of the master cylinder. Not sure if that's your problem or that it applies to new owners.

Its made by "Quadra". You may want to poke around their website.
  • I tried to attach a photo, not sure if im doing it right, ill apologize in advance if it didnt work.
