Yep, seen that one. Not saying this is why, but its why they have the laws. Maybe that mother bear has been close to people before and wasn't intimidated by them, so when they ended up being to close she attacked. probably not the families fault, maybe the faut of the someone else that got to close before! Just throwing a possible scenario out there!

YOu got that right Age. he needed stopping and I for one am glad the authorities stopped him instead of the Bison. Still he warrants an honorable mention over at darwinawards. Amazing how many compete for those awards. Most of which are given posthumously. (For obvious reason) Yes there is a cure for stupidity. that's it.

Well as I understand it, he had already been arrested in Glacier when the charges from YNP and Tetons got to Glacier. For what I don't know. But he was on a rampage and needed to be pulled up.

Well he actually had a hand full of offenses. most all related to his being a bottle baby who has yet to ween himself off the bottle. ONly where as back in his diapered days it was a milk bottle. now it's beer and liquor..

This leads to stupid stuff.

I mean there is even a Bible warning about getting drunk .. Why.> Well to be honest. He DEMONSTRATED Why. Several times before they put the cuffs on him.

I won't bother with the quote but it's basically "Don't get drunk or you may do stupid stuff" he did. (That was a very very very loose translation).

X2! I think they should have brought his dumb a$$ back out to Yellowstone and tied him to a tree and let that buffalo carry out his own brand of justice. "let the punishment FIT the crime" would have cleaned up the gene pool too. Geez what a moron!

I was very happy when I saw this update on the news. For once justice is served!

Thats a long time to sit in jail if your not a career criminal, I think he got a ton of probation to and as big an ass as he seems he will most likely not make it through probation without doing something stupid.
