Well in the same article they stated Tesla might come out with a pickup as well.

OK so somehow I ended up envisioning some state finally getting their vision of an RV approved, 20,000 watts worth of solar panels balanced on the roof of a Prius.

It will be interesting to see if it is rated to pull a pop-up. You got to start somewhere.

There always Workhorse- a Volt like rig with an on board generator to extend range, but for the big guys there is Nikola, a zero emission, 1200 mile range between fueling, 1000 horsepower (software limit due to tires)

Nobody can even build a phone that will stay alive for more than 8 hours; at least mine doesn't. :R
Electric golf carts do work well though! Some even have a pretty good size bed on them.

I'm talking about pickups, not semi's as the article talks about.

Although I don't know why they couldn't use the trailer top for lots of solar to extend the range. Same with a RV and a pickup, using the solar for RV use and to extend the range. A lot of people on the forum say they don't drive over 200 miles a day when on a trip.

While I will probably never own one I like keeping up with technology.
