Interesting article electric vehicle charging & campgrounds
Howdy all. This is an interesting article and informative for campground owners and EV owners alike.

Although this article more addresses those of us with our own EVSE charge devices that we can plug in to 50 amp RV plugs (eg level two and level 3 charging) it is lacking in information on the formats for pedestal equipment like J1772, level 2 and level 3 fast charge and Tesla specific chargers. Having said that I suspect for most campground operators the least amount of capital investment and greatest return on investment would be to simply add an additional metered Nema 14-50 on three or four sites. That and a tap and pay card system to keep things simple or just a simple digital meter read. We can only do level 2, 3.3 KW charging in our smart car but most of the EV's out there now have level 3 capability now. It will be an interesting evolution to watch.
