interstate battery bites the dust in two years
I watched over this battery like a hawk. I was surprised when it would not kick on the heater. It was plugged in at home for weeks before I left as in the past. I do not think my
converter was over charging, always worked in the past. Kept it on a battery tender in the basement over the winter. Checked water levels frequently, filled with distilled water when needed, which it rarely did, and that was just one cell needed a very small amount.
I was bummed and glad I had a genny to warm up at night. What can I expect for a life. I hear some last two years and if lucky some go 5 to 8 years or more. Comments
