Campground may be the best bet as it may be quieter. On the other hand, if I only need to stop for 5 or 6 hours maybe Wallyworld or a rest stop will do. I assure the parking police... I am not going to put out the awning, grill, chairs, etc. I'd park as far away as possible, drop one bed over the lawn or island, sleep for a while hopefully, shop at wallyworld, and head out. I guess I just wanted to know as a last resort if it was okay to stop with a hybrid and drop the tent out.
