Jeep Cherokee toad questions

Hello all, Im getting ready to set up my Jeep Cherokee Trailerhawk (16) this Sunday. I have a couple of questions;

Were and how do I mount the break-a-way switch on the front of the jeep.

Second were did everyone go though the fire wall at?

Thanks KC
  • Thanks all, the install took us 6 hours. Will try it out in a couple of weeks.

  • I wouldn't be overly concerned about the "wobble". There are a great deal of us who never had a issue with the Jeep Cherokee after 10's of thousands of miles. Over blown in many others opinion. Our breakaway was just under the bumper and centered. Ours came through the firewall slightly above and behind the gas pedal.

    Good luck.

    Before you do anything, be sure to get the wiring harness needed to (hopefully) prevent the "death wobble" when towing the 2014 to 16 Cherokees. This has been a long thread that has finally resulted in getting FCA to do something. These are very dangerous to tow without this harness to keep the electronic steering working while towing. Let me know if you need further information.
