Kiefer Car Hauler
I am looking at buying a Keifer brand aluminum car hauler. Does anyone own or have any comments about these trailers ?

- Cannot offer any info about Keifer, sorry. While shopping for a car hauler a few years ago, I did look at a featherlite that was comparable to a Big Tex 70CH. The Featherlite was almost five times the price of the steel trailer. I honestly thought it was a misprint on the ad. The dealer explained the price difference by saying, get ready for it, I would get much better fuel mileage with the aluminum trailer than with the Big Tex steel trailer. The Featherlite trailer is about 400 pounds lighter than the 70CH. Anyone care to take a guess how long it would take to save $8,000 dollars worth of fuel by reducing 400 pounds of non-wind-drag trailer weight?
- I don't know anything about them but they look great and have been in business for many years according to their website. I don't think I would have any hesitation in getting one.
