How you protect the the ladder on the rack to don't get stolen?

Many of us spend several months in our trailers. We, for instance, spend about 6 months in the Texas Hill Country each year. It's not unusual for me to have to access a part of the trailer that I can't get to using the ladder attached to the trailer; such as doing repair work on the scare lights or the gutter extensions. Plus, I'm well north of 250# and I don't trust the trailer ladder completely. Hope this helps
