- Jean_SExplorerOne of the banes of fulltiming was having to leave my hairdresser behind.
- CroweExplorerAt first I thought Crowe was pulling a funny, I also thought that most rv parks prohibit the practice of dying in their bathrooms LOL
ROFL! I didn't even realize the double-meaning in what I said. I'm such a comic! :B
My natural color really lights up my green eyes
How coincidental-mine too! My eyes are primarily green but do have somewhat large flecks of yellow (yes, yellow!) that sometime turns brown, but my eyes are not truly hazel. Only 1-2% of the world's population have green eyes. Per my eye doc, my coloring is very rare. - Chock_Full_o__NExplorerLOL, good catch. I'm sure most campgrounds hope nobody is dying in their bathrooms!

I don't dye (no, really I don't!) but I do know that a lot of campgrounds I've been at prohibit the practice of dying in their bathrooms.
^^^I stopped dyeing my hair while on a cross-country RV trip for exactly this reason. Many campgrounds post rules in the bathrooms that specifically say No Dyeing Hair. I only tried it once in my own RV bathroom but it was such a mess that I decided to just not do it again.
That was 7 years ago and my hair has grown more silvery every year. It's actually quite pretty. My natural color really lights up my green eyes and I get compliments on it all the time. I doubt I will ever color it again.:B

Seriously, me too short and sassy...it's so easy!
Sher - KittykathExplorer III always dye my hair in the campground's showers. They are floor-to-ceiling tiled with dark grout, private, no shower curtains or anything to stain or clean up. Works well.

Short, sassy and natural..........ALL GOOD!
That's how I wear mine. No muss, no fuss, 5-10 min with a hairdryer and a brush after it's washed and I'm good to go. No electricity, no problem. I just let it go au natural and just keep brushing it to avoid the Little Orphan Annie look! :) When my hair was long, it was 30-45 minutes with a dryer-and it would still be wet.
exactly why she got rid of the long hair and stopped coloring it.
I like it plus when we get ready to go somewhere/do something she is ready when I am :B - CroweExplorerShort, sassy and natural..........ALL GOOD!

I don't see why it would be such a problem... Do you make that big a mess in your S&B home doing it?
I have a towel and a tee shirt that I use so if I have any drips, but I put it on in the bathroom, wander the house doing chores while I wait and rinse in kitchen sink... whole process takes less than an hour and I usually accomplish some house work during that time too.. - Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIGF had long hair and colored/dyed it prior to us going FT.
Then just before we hit the road she had it cut very short and stopped with the dying.
Short, sassy and natural..........ALL GOOD!
