You saw the turn signal......why didn't you just let him pull in front of you?
I heartily agree. When you want to change lanes in these Metro areas with a coach and toad and after signaling and signaling and the brain deads behind you don't get the message moving on over wakes them up and helps you achieve the needed results. If after that you find that you screwed up and need to move back to the previous lane. then do it. Probably have to use the same tactics again as it'll be the same brain dead crowd still behind you. They are the same bunch that feels entitled to deny you the use of THEIR lane. The road belongs to all the drivers and once in a while some assertive driving practices are called for. While we are at it we need to recognize the driver who caught on to what you needed to do and who yields so you can make a smooth change. They are out there too and show up ever now and then.
