A friend of mine is looking to rent a popup trailer. Does anyone have any recommendations for the Hartford CT area.
Thanks for any info,
Mike
Closer to the shore than Hartford but could be doable. 91 to 95 out at exit 64 or 65.
Popup rental
Nice married couple who make the rental process simple. And fix my Coleman stove when I'm feeling lazy:D.
HTH!
Thank you for the info, I'll pass this link to him!

So you didn't get anywhere with "RV rentals Connecticut?"
Strange. In SW Missouri-NE Oklahoma-NE Kansas area, if I look for rentals what I find are pop-ups and very small trailers. There is at least one dealer in each of the three states renting PUPs.
It must be something about regional markets, regional preferences. Most of the big national rental agencies offer C motorhomes, which yield good margins if you can keep them busy 4-6 months a year. Dealers doing rentals don't try to compete, they've gone for the budget niche. Maybe there is no budget nice in New England, though I'd think it an ideal location for pop-ups, no air conditioning needed.
Sorry for the late reply, trust me here in southern NE... it gets HOT!
Years ago, a couple towns over we had a small mom & pop rv dealership that rented popups and the like, but like many of the small community business in our area they closed shop.

- kknowltonExplorer IISome dealerships may rent them. Our old dealer (not in CT, sorry) did for a while.
- AllworthExplorer III have never seen anybody renting pop-ups. The closest you are likely to come is a small Class C.
