Anybody know how much difference in height can one expect by changing to a Low Profile 13.5 ducted AC from a Standard 13.5 ducted AC?

LOL! The A/C on our former Class C cleared the overhead door by a lot less than that ๐Ÿ™‚ I mean, we had to make sure the driveway was shoveled BARE, or it would have hit.

New trailer is home and it fit under the cover. I was worried it would not. it has to be right down the center but has one inch to spare.

Thanks for the insight

Click on an A/C and read the specs.

Considering you haven't specified any particular brand of A/C Google would work just as well for you as any of the rest of us. :W

And you never know when 5 or 6 inches will be the difference between hitting a tree limb or other overhead hazard and not hitting anything.

I'm going to put a Penguin II in the front bedroom of my fifth wheel--ducted with its own thermostat.

The front low profile a/c units are very loud, however many people run them when they're not in bed--and cut them off when they go to bed. Then, they'll just use the rear a/c unit at night when temperatures are not so hot.

5 or 6 inches I would imagine.
