Lube Shank Question?
Hi Team, Understand it is a good idea to lube the ball. Is it also a good idea to lube the shank (the part that goes into the receiver)? Thanks Dan

It might make installing it easier, or more difficult if there is a build up of dirt and sand between the two moving parts. I have never lubed mine, and it shows some rust stains because the grease would have prevented the rust from forming.
