Lube Shank Question?
Hi Team, Understand it is a good idea to lube the ball. Is it also a good idea to lube the shank (the part that goes into the receiver)? Thanks Dan

I don't recall any recommendation to lubricate the shank where it enters the truck receiver. They DO recommend lubing the shank where it enters the hitch head however. This is because the wedge shape that enters the head can sometimes get stuck if not lubed now and then. I just shoot mine with WD40 everytime I hitch up.
