Marcus came to town.
Marcus came to town for the Richmond Indiana Camping World grand opening. All I really need to say is Marcus is one heck of a nice guy. There was supposed to be door prizes and everyone was signing up for them.
Marcus pulled a name out of the bucket and asked the winner what they wanted. The answer was new tires- done! Next name requested a back up camera-done, next ice maker-done. A Refrigerator, new bed, new windshield, if someone couldn't decide they got a gift card.
One of the names drawn replied that they didn't have an RV but had come in to look at used campers, Marcus replied "go pick one out"
Another couple received a used pop-up trailer from Marcus. When her name was called, she told him that she and her husband, Randy, used to ride a motorcycle and tow a tiny pop-up camper.
But a cancer that affected her husband's eye last year diminished his peripheral vision and they sold the motorcycle and camper. Now that's his cancer has been declared in remission, they felt it was time to return to camping, with a used pop-up they can tow with their van.
Marcus offered them a used pop-up.
Marcus gets slammed here all the time. He didn't have to make a personal appearance and he could have just authorized the store to give away the normal grand opening trinkets.
Instead Marcus showed up in person and made some average Joe's dreams come true and made the life of others a little sweeter.
Hats off to you Marcus, hats off.
