My 'head-slapping' moment re why new TT isn't level on hitch

Our last TT had the coupler mounted at the same level as the main frame rails .. the new one has the coupler & its a-frame mounted under the main rails of the trailer frame... started other thread ...

I would suggest getting a good forged unit for the drop hitch. I needed to get one for my Reese WD set up and looking at some other drop hitches I did not like the way they looked like just square tubing welded together. The curved forge from Reese looked far superior.
