Need a good diesel/GMC mechanic near Cloverdale, CA

Question

Our 2006 GMC 2500 is shifting gears oddly and reving unnaturally. In park the engine clatters. Anyone know a good mechanic within a short distance. My personal mechanic recommends I have it checked out before I tow the trailer again.

Can you get to Healdsburg?  There's a dealer there, but not sure if they do GMC.

Sounds like you need a trans mechanic and not so much a "diesel" mech.

Found GMC dealership who said truck is ok.  We will hook the trailer up and give it the good try.  Wish us luck.  Bad fuel possibly??
