Uh oh we just got back here from Logger minutes ago!
It was a good stay.

Next time we're gonna try for site #235 on Double Bit.
I think it's nicer and a little more laid back down toward the west end.

Just saw your earlier post, missed it until this morning, we had Hot August Nights and Barrett-Jackson up in Reno this past weekend.

Glad you had a good time. Its been a few years since we have been to Logger, but looking forward to our short 2 nite stay this coming weekend. We prefer that west end of the campground too - seems a bit more open and not as congested.

He goes to a private school and they have a hard time even publishing their weekly assignments. He also has to do local community service this year as part of the curriculum so that'll require him to be home. It's a nice idea though but I think he'd miss his mother. DW has even discussed "home schooling" (she is retired pathologist/linguist) so she's qualified. However since he's started in this private school, his grades have gone up so it looks like we'll stay with them.

If he's a good student, maybe you can work with the teacher/school by getting his scheduled work ahead of time and take him out of school for a few days a week so you can travel and take him with you. It would be a great bonding experience and give him a lifetime of memories.

Just got back yesterday from 8 nights out. Wish we were still out too.

I know how you feel. We're leaving Sunday for 4 days. It's been a month since we've been out and the weather couldn't be any more perfect. It's time to go. DH washed and waxed the TC a couple of days ago and it's sitting all shiny. Will finish packing tomorrow. The TC is still new enough that it's exciting.

Let's face it, camping is always exciting, no matter how long you've been doing it.

Recently back home after a 124 day, 25 state, 12,000 mile trip. The itch to go again is bothering us. 1 month & we are off again. A shorty this time. Only about 3000 miles & 55 days through 6 states.

Dust does not get a chance to fall on our rig.

Back up to Logger at Stampede reservoir between Reno and Truckee again early next month!

Clicked on rec.gov to find site 83 was available!
Been trying reserve that site since May :B
