New auxilliary tank

Question

Howdy FolksI just got a new 46 gallon aux fuel tank for my '17 F350 diesel. I'm good on installation of the tank and Fuel Shotz fuel transfer system. My question is: when the fuel line is open from the aux tank in the truck bed, what keeps fuel from flowing out of the stock tanks vent line? I have not yet installed anything as I am waiting to see if anyone has used this system successfully or can give me some advice.

The vent should be on the upstream side so theoretically no over-fueling issues.

I bet your stock tank is not vented to the atmosphere when the fuel cap is cranked down.

Looking at it, I suspect you're right. That's probably why they say to fill the stock tank first.
