New auxilliary tank

Howdy Folks
I just got a new 46 gallon aux fuel tank for my '17 F350 diesel. I'm good on installation of the tank and Fuel Shotz fuel transfer system. My question is: when the fuel line is open from the aux tank in the truck bed, what keeps fuel from flowing out of the stock tanks vent line? I have not yet installed anything as I am waiting to see if anyone has used this system successfully or can give me some advice.

Oh nice catch.

However I would not think my cows (iffin I had any) would drink out of a tank that had a fuel cap on it. :B

It was always a pain needing fuel and finding service stations with a minimum of 15 control islands you would have to weave in and out or even over. I have a 50 gal tool/fuel box with a range of 800 miles, fueling up is no problem.

Looking at it, I suspect you're right. That's probably why they say to fill the stock tank first.

I bet your stock tank is not vented to the atmosphere when the fuel cap is cranked down.

There is a check valve in the kit. The vent should be on the upstream side so theoretically no over-fueling issues.
